plitest - A literate testing tool written in PHP Php LIterate TEST is a literate testing language tool written in PHP that can be used to test HTML based applications. As a starting point, the tool will run on Windows, using COM to drive an IE instance and hopes to produce a simple near english language to define the tests. The aim is to have an architecture that allows for the easy implementation of new drivers (E.g. Firefox, emulated), the addition of new commands either to the internal command set, or through extensions, and to allow for the quick creation of adaptors into PHP Unit Test frameworks. The project is very much in the infancy, and this project has been created solely to allow for the easy movement of code from home to work... the internals of this tool are by no means solid at this stage, and many components are not yet fully functional.
